Our Story
It all started with Sophie — the undisputed Queen of the house, and the true founder of The Royal Hound.
The Queen
Sophie is a foodie in the most royal sense: discerning, particular, and absolutely unwilling to settle for anything beneath her standards.
When she developed a host of food allergies, the search began — scouring for novel proteins, better ingredients, and ways to make her meals not just safe, but something she'd actually get excited about. That search opened up a whole new world of pet nutrition, enrichment, and treats we never knew existed.

Then Came Zuko
We thought — surely, a golden retriever will eat anything. We were wrong. Here we were, hoping for an easy, disposal eater, and instead got another picky royal on our hands. At that point, the universe had spoken.
What started as a mission to feed two very opinionated pets blossomed into something bigger.
Turns out, a bowl can change everything.
Enrichment feeding taps into something instinctive and joyful, allowing dogs and cats to forage, explore, and discover while enjoying their meal.
Watching them light up at mealtime? That's everything.
That joy is what The Royal Hound is all about — slow feeders, enrichment bowls, and delicious treats and toppers sourced from around the globe, curated for your canine and feline royalty.
Our goal is simple: bring the joy, enrichment, and quality that transformed Sophie and Zuko's world — straight to yours.

Meet Our Team
Meet Scooby — rescue dog, absolute heart-stealer, and Lilian's entire world. Rescued just over a year ago, Scooby has settled right into his forever home and made it very clear he has no plans of going anywhere.
Scooby's super special skill? Dino Chomps.

Meet Eli — a pint-sized floof from New Jersey with a personality that is anything but small. This ShiChi shares his daily moments in lifestyle, nutrition, enrichment, and fashion, because looking good and eating well go hand in hand.
When he's not snuffling through an enrichment bowl or working through a bison bully stick, he's adding to his prized collection of Lamb Chop toys. A dog of very refined taste. Follow along at @EliTheShiChi!
Meet Everest (3) and Juniper (5 months) — two Border Collie girls who run the show and keep mom, Heidy, very busy. Life in their house is full of agility courses, hiking trails, sheep herding, and beach days, with plenty of new tricks being learned along the way.

Meet Goose — a 1 year old Shepsky from New Mexico with a flair for the camera and a love for a good toppl. May and Goose are all about capturing their everyday moments together, and honestly, with a face like Goose's, it's hard not to.

Meet Maple — a 10 month old Australian Cattle Dog / Anatolian Shepherd mix and Madisin's absolute best friend. Madisin is navigating first-time puppy mom life in real time, and sharing her the journey along the way.
Their days revolve around enrichment, training, lifestyle, and building balanced routines together — with a special love for raw feeding and crafting meals that are as beautiful as they are nutritious. They're also big champions of small businesses, so they fit right in here.

Meet Sokka — a shelter rescue named after the beloved Avatar: The Last Airbender character, and if you know, you know. Goofy personality? Check. Obsessed with food? Absolutely check.
Jessica loves creating fun enrichment experiences for him, and Sokka is always more than happy to taste test whatever comes his way. A match made in heaven, really.

Meet London Sofia — the floofiest golden retriever around, and proud of it. This girl is a water lover in every sense, whether that's diving into an outdoor swim or gleefully rolling in the snow. No form of water is off limits.
When she's not fetching her favorite toys or chasing the next outdoor adventure, she's happily taste-testing new treats — a very important job she takes very seriously.

Meet Princess, a 7 year old long-haired Chihuahua senior rescue with all the wisdom and sass that comes with the title, and Kween, a 1 year old Cane Corso puppy who is just getting started. Quite the duo.
Both girls share a love for delicious treats — novel proteins especially — and are on their own unique journeys. Princess is working through reactivity training while Kween is gearing up for protective training and sports. Big things ahead for these two.
